Who Am I
 

My name is Sunil Pandey and I was born and raised in Baglung, a countryside district of Nepal. Life was simple. I received my early education from New Life Boarding School, Galkot, Baglung. After then, I join Shee Mahindra Madhamik Vidlaya, a local school in Narathanti, Baglung.

In 2002, I shifted to Pokhara with my sister. I then complete my Secondary level from Laxmi Sishu Aavashiya School, Pokhara. I then joined Mount Annapurna Campus and completed my +2 in Science. I then joined Pokhara University where I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Application. I have also done LLB from Tribhuvan University.

I got to to know about computers after coming to Pokhara, and I finally bought my own personal computer in 2004. I had made my mind up for studying in the field of computers during my school level and I took computers as a subject during my +2 level. I was crazy about computers - both hardware and software applications - from those early days.

In 2009, I along with my three friends, all IT students, made our dreams come true by opening an IT company called Nanosoft in Pokhara. Our goal was to explore and innovate the IT sector in Pokhara and establish ourselves as a giant in the country and the global web network. The work our company did was in software and website development, E-mail solutions, SEO and IT consultancy. Besides the above, I also have interest in social work. I have worked as a human rights activist and am also involved in various other social organizations.

After completion of my bachelor degree, I moved to Kathmandu for my Masters degree. I completed my Masters degree in Computer Information System from Nepal College of Information Technology, which is affiliated to the Pokhara University. I have also worked as a lecturer and an IT professional in different Engineering and Technology colleges in Kathmandu. With my work as a web developer, I have experience in other related field like web server, mail server, server security, online payment gateways, and also in ecommerce site development.

Currently I am working as IT entrepreneur and CEO at XL Soft Tech Pvt. Ltd.
